Google is Offering 2TB Of Cloud Storage Free:

 

                   

                                       

                            Its the time of Google as it has teamed up with a start-up called Panzura to offer 2TB of cloud storage free for twelve months and in order to get the free cloud storage from Google the users need to install cloud gateway software from Panzura. The only thing is that Google offer covers Only from one location using Panzura, but if users need to access their cloud storage from multiple locations, they will have to pay Panzura, but Google still won't charge anything. This is a way for customers to try anything new, especially if they have some kind of aversion to using the cloud in the past.

In March, Google Had lowered the prices of paid plans of Drive cloud storage service.

 Normally Google is charging $1.99 (120 rs (approx.) per month for 100 GB of cloud storage from $4.99 per month previously, $9.99 (Rs. 600 approximately) per month for 1TB storage (previously $49.99), and $99.99 (Rs. 6,000 approximately) for 10TB storage.

  On other-hand Amazon offers 1TB of storage at $120 (Rs. 7,100 approximately) per year, while 100GB OnDrive storage by Microsoft costs $50 (Rs. 3,000 approximately) per year. Dropbox charges $9.99 (Rs. 600 approximately) a month - or $99 (Rs. 6,000 approximately) a year if paid annually - for 100GB of storage.

Panzura, a California-based storage company which used to sell its cloud gateway software, has also started offering it free of charge from Wednesday. The company is also known to help Amazon and Microsoft data centers to store data remotely and provides tools to access it with their existing software programs.

 

 

 "Our hope with providing cloud gateways for free is to help people understand that the real value of cloud storage is acting as a collaborative fabric for cross-office collaboration and not as a cheap digital attic,"said Barry Phillips, Chief Marketing Officer, Panzura.Google on the other hand has also added feature to insert Google-drive files directly into G mail messages on Android devices. It will also ask users to share a file with recipient if it's not shared already and will offer an option to change file sharing settings. The option, called Insert from Drive, comes with another update to the G mail app for Android, namely improved autocomplete suggestions for contacts.The company noted on a Google+post that "these features will be rolling out over the next few days" to its G mail App. Those who can't wait for the roll-out, can get the update G mail v4.9 app from Android Police which has the signed apk from Google.

6.) Now you must make sure that your IDM has installed properly and must be integrated into your web browser. No problem if you don’t have your IDM installed the file will downloaded directly.

Google Glass Was upgraded with  2g.b RAM and it makes the early buyers angry :

           1.)  Google is going to ship an upgraded version of Google Glass with 2GB RAM, and this made the early users angry as they have to stuck with the older version of Google Glass

           2.) Actually the Google Glass currently comes with 1GB RAM, but to improve performance Google is going to upgrade Google Glass with 2GB RAM, it has said in a post of Google Plus.

           3.)  This announcement has angered the existing Google Glass Customers. Some demanded free upgrade to the 2GB RAM version in reply to the post. Others said they would be willing to pay little amount for an upgrade, while one acknowledged that if further hardware/software updates were planned, it would not make sense for Google to upgrade all users each time. Getting a final consumer version  would inflate though.

          4.) But Google has not mentioned that it will upgrade existing users Glasses. It also added , throughout our open beta program, you can expect to see us make changes here and there.We will not swapping devices, but you will continue to see improvements with our software updates, a Google representative said by giving reply to the post.

          5.) Actually the company does replaces broken and defective Google Glass devices, however, prompting Google Plus user Jake Weisz to identify a loophole in the non-upgrades policy. It is adding an easier way to frame shots for photos, with the addition of L-shaped corners bracketing the image in the viewfinder screen, and adding two new Google Now cards, one to remind users where they parked their car and another to let them know when packages are arriving.

The company also announced 12 new Glassware apps from partners, including Shazam, a music recognition app that can be triggered with the words “OK Glass, recognize this song,” and 94Fifty Basketball, a training aid that works with a sensor-equipped basketball to offer feedback after each shot.
